The United States ambassador, Earl Anthony Wayne, attended Sunday 30, with six young Ceferino Namuncurá Virreyes workshop, a concert of American band Black Eyed Peas, the third edition of the Pepsi Music.
Invited by Pepsi and with the collaboration of PopArt Music, Ambassador Wayne and the six young people after the concert met with members of the band: Fergie, William James Adams (will.i.am), Allan Pineda Lindo (Apl.de . ap) and Jaime Luis Gomez (Taboo), with whom he talked about the different activities that the band performs across the Peapod Foundation.
As part of a Latin American tour sponsored by Pepsi, the Black Eyed Peas donated one night's concert on Friday 28 September in Mexico, to raise funds for 1,500 poor children have access to decent education.
Ambassador Wayne visited the workshop of Viceroys Namuncurá Ceferino last September 24 when he made a donation of computers.
The boys who accompanied him to the concert were selected for their outstanding work in the workshop.
This workshop trains more than 120 teenagers and 35 adults to give them the tools they need to develop a career in carpentry, welding, electrical, paint and computers.
