Lady Gaga, Aerosmith and Black Eyed Peas, together for peace

It will be next April 17 in a huge concert to be held in the Olympic Stadium Bird's Nest in Beijing


Aerosmith, Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, 50 Cent, David Bisbal, former Lez Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page and popular Chinese artists will participate on April 17 next, in a huge concert in Beijing.

The show, called Show of Peace (Peace Show) will be held at the gates of the Olympic Stadium Bird's Nest and the organization hopes will be followed by about 2 billion people around the world.

"Music has been the most powerful language to reach the hearts of all people around the world, " said Jimmy Page at the press conference presentation ceremony held today.

"One world, one dream, one voice ", said the historic guitarist, completing the Olympic motto that was used for the Olympic Games Beijing 2008 (One World, One Dream).

Rick Carson, renowned music producer and executive director of Peace Show, explained away for years trying to complete this project, which sought the support of Chinese government and people like the UN secretary general, Ban Ki-Moon and Former U.S. President Bill Clinton.

"China can demonstrate its capability to change things, " said Carson, who highlighted the power of music as a vehicle to spread the peace.

The macro-week will coincide with the 40th anniversary of the declaration of Earth Day by the United Nations.
